Street and market traders will soon be able to share an electric Renault EV Kangoo Maxi ZE van, stationed on Pulross Road in Brixton. The trial will run for one year, and businesses can use the van through the Zipcar app.
The EV is being provided through a partnership between Lambeth Council, Brixton BID, Zipcar for Business and Cross River Partnership’s Clean Air Village Programme. The trial is hoped to encourage businesses based in Brighton to scrap their diesel vans, as well as reduce the number of vans on the road.
