Leading the discussion on energy efficiency at home, our experts will provide advice and guidance to help people improve energy efficiency in their homes. We will cover the everyday activities that cost the most – in both carbon and money terms – introducing our audience to new techniques and habits to reduce energy use. We will also explore new innovations that can make a long-term difference to your environmental impact.

Energy Saving Trust at Grand Designs Live

At 12pm on the Sustainable Living Stage, Jessica Forster, project manager, and Ben Whittle, senior consultant – low carbon, will cover how to find the right heat pump for your home, sharing advice on the installation process and how to get the design and aesthetics right in your home.

Later in the programme, Ben and Jess will be on the Grand Theatre stage at 3pm providing in depth advice on ‘Low carbon living: saving energy at home’. This is a great opportunity to find out the small actions you can make at home to save energy and save money, and the longer term actions you can make to save more in the future. There will be time for audience questions too!
