Experts from our Scotland transport team will be hosting an exhibition stand at the National Active Travel Conference in Perth Concert Hall on 14 June 2022. We will be available from 9.15am – 4.30pm to share insights on how active travel can be encouraged to reduce carbon emissions and improve health and wellbeing.

To reduce the amount of air pollution on our streets, switching to a form of active travel as much as possible is one of the easiest methods to reduce environmental impact. Choosing to walk, wheel or cycle on a journey instead of driving or using public transport all helps to reduce impact.

We will also be providing info on electric bikes which are ideal for people who have a little further to travel or find cycling physically challenging. E-bikes emit 742 times less CO2 per mile than the average petrol or diesel car.

The event welcomes a broad audience, encompassing transport planners and engineers, health professionals, town planners and property professionals, local authorities, private sector, and third sector participants. Find out more and register your attendance below.
