Our response to strengthening the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) consultation on options

This consultation sought views on proposed measures to strengthen the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme for businesses to improve the uptake of energy efficiency measures and increase the benefits for participating businesses. It asked for views on improving the design of the scheme, including improving the quality of audits through increased standardisation of reporting requirements, including net zero element to audits, as well as the possibility of extending the scope of the scheme to include medium sized businesses and mandating action on audit recommendations.
