Let's talk

We're just a call or an email away

If your home is in Scotland, you can contact our friendly advisors by phone or email.

We're currently experiencing a high demand for our service, meaning we're a little busier than usual and may take longer to answer your call or reply to your email. We appreciate your patience and understanding and will respond to you as quickly as we can. In the meantime, you could also take a look at some of our online help too:

  • Getting in touch about your own home? Why not complete our Home Energy Check to start your energy and money-saving journey and save time on your enquiry?
  • Looking for direct financial support? We provide personalised energy saving advice but we don't provide direct financial support, such as fuel vouchers or crisis funds. However - we've put together this handy article that should help point you in the right direction if you're struggling to pay your bills.

By phone:
Call us free on 0808 808 2282. Our lines are open Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm, and Saturday 9am - 5pm. Please note our phone lines are often quite busy in the evenings and at weekends.

By email:
Complete our contact form and select 'email' when asked how you'd like us to get back to you. We'll aim to be in touch within 5-10 working days.

Advice for everyone
As well as advice for yourself, you can get in touch with us on behalf of someone else; like a family member you’re caring for or a friend you’re helping out. We never cold call, so will only contact you if you request it.

Need information in a language that isn’t English? We can arrange an interpreter – just let us know what you need when you call us. Or, if you use British Sign Language, you can use the contactScotland-BSL app to get in touch.

And, if your organisation works with people who could use our help, find out about referring your clients to us for free, impartial advice and access to funding.

Home Energy Scotland is funded by Scottish Government and managed by Energy Saving Trust. Our advice is free and impartial and we can help you access financial support to help manage your bills, improve your home and reduce your carbon emissions.
