The local incentives tool can be used to find information on the various schemes and incentives that local authorities may be offering to electric vehicle (EV) drivers, or those looking to switch to electric.
This could include incentives such as being able to drive in bus lanes or having residential chargepoints installed near your house, through the On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS).
Look out for the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) kitemark in your area. This scheme provides independent accreditation to identify dealerships that have a high level of EV knowledge. Using EVA approved dealerships will help you make an informed choice when looking to purchase your electric vehicle. The EVA scheme is endorsed by the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
If you are a local authority and would like to share your data on EVs, please email email@example.com.
All statistics have been collected directly from local authorities or through the UK Government’s Department for Transport. The chargepoint data is originally from Zap-Map.
