The ChargePlace Scotland network (CPS), created and owned by the Scottish Government, provided electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Scotland for over 10 years. This network will stop being operational by the end of 2026, which means charge points currently on the network may transfer to a new operator.

If you’re an EV driver using the public charging network currently managed by ChargePlace Scotland, or if you’re new to EV driving and charging in Scotland, join us as we delve into how to navigate the closure and what this means for you.

We’ll be covering topics detailing the closure of CPS, including:

  • commonly asked questions about the network transition;
  • what will happen to existing charge points on the network; and
  • the purpose and benefits of roaming.

Energy Saving Trust has run similar webinars supporting owners of charge points on the CPS network, including a roundtable discussion with charge point operators. If you’d like to view this content, visit our webpage.
