We’ve received funding from the Green Home Finance Accelerator (GHFA) with TrustMark and Residential Logbook Association (RLBA) to pilot a retrofit proposition toolkit.
The toolkit will promote education, tailored energy efficiency advice and installation assurance services. This will allow financial service organisations to create an end-to-end retrofit proposition for the private rented sector and owner occupiers.
Inga Jirgensone, our group head of business development, said:
“We’re delighted to be participating in the Green Home Finance Accelerator and working with TrustMark and RLBA to pilot the retrofit proposition toolkit.
This suite of pre-configured digital services will enable financial service companies to create an end-to-end retrofit proposition, and integrate elements of trusted energy advice, assurance and logbooks into their green finance offerings.”
In 2023 we received funding from the GHFA to support new research on buy-to-let green finance journeys. The phase is now complete and we’ve been awarded further funding to pilot the retrofit proposition toolkit.
In the pilot we will:
- Develop a platform to show the benefits of the toolkit to lenders – including how they can use it to create bespoke retrofit propositions tailored to their brand, product offerings, and customer journey.
- Work with a financial organisation to integrate the toolkit into their existing customer journey.
- Test this integration with their customers to quantify the benefits and evaluate success.
- Refine the commercial model and create the go-to-market strategy to deliver the toolkit at scale.
We look forward to working with TrustMark and RLBA to help households cut their energy bills and greenhouse gas emissions, while supporting the green finance market to decarbonise the built environment.
