This report describes some of the programmes that we deliver on behalf of the Scottish Government and the impact that these programmes have.
These include energy efficiency programmes for:
- owner occupiers
- tenants
- small private landlords
- SMEs
A key, distinctive element of the policy landscape for home energy in Scotland is the focus given to expert, personalised and impartial advice. We provide these via Home Energy Scotland and Business Energy Scotland. This is alongside access to green finance, which supports people and businesses to act on energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
Some of these programmes also cover wider support to address fuel poverty. For example, helping people get on the right energy tariff and access the benefits they’re entitled to.
We update the report every year to reflect relevant programme developments and to provide up to date information on their impact.
It presents data for 2023–24 and, where available, for 2024–25.
