Joanna O’Loan
Since 2019, I’ve been helping people understand and adopt energy efficiency and zero-carbon technologies through research, analysis, writing, training, and advice at Energy Saving Trust. I’m especially excited about the opportunities net zero brings to improve our homes, not just in terms of carbon, but in comfort, health, and quality of life.
My background is in chemical engineering and with a lifelong curiosity about how things work, I’m passionate about making complex topics accessible.
I enjoy being outdoors – whether it’s Munro bagging, forest and coastal walks, or just enjoying a coffee al fresco – and practicing yoga.
