Abigail Ward

Policy Manager (England and Wales)

I joined Energy Saving Trust’s policy team in 2022.

After studying law at Durham university, I joined ENGIE’s graduate scheme, which cemented my interest in energy and net zero.

At Energy Saving Trust, I lead on the development and advocacy of our positions on key net zero policies in England and Wales. This can be anything from engaging with officials, responding to government consultations and attending key stakeholder events.

Outside of work, you’ll find me in an independent coffee shop or wine bar, searching for second hand bargains or at a pilates class.
