Jamie Gibbs

Content Manager

I’ve been with Energy Saving Trust since late 2023. I started my career in financial services, creating expert advice for people navigating insurance products. Before joining Energy Saving Trust, I worked at Confused.com for 11 years, leading their content team to create and maintain all advice on the website. I was also the communications lead for the company’s sustainability group.

With over 15 years’ experience in consumer writing, I’m now responsible for ensuring our advice is both expert and easy to understand. If you can’t explain something simply, you don’t understand it enough yourself. I’m also a founding member of one of Energy Saving Trust’s Wales office sustainability groups. I’ve had solar panels and battery storage installed at home since August 2025.

Outside of work, I design puzzles for escape rooms and puzzle games. I’m also a host and producer of a comedy escape room podcast – The Infinite Escape Room.
