Renewable energy sources like wind, water and the sun can heat your home while reducing your energy bills. They also reduce your reliance on fossil fuels.
If you live in Scotland, use our resources and tools to find out which renewable energy source is right for you. To help with the cost of installing renewable heat, you can use the Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan to get access to:
- grants
- an optional interest-free loan
These are funded by the Scottish Government.
Join the renewables revolution
By 2030, it’s expected that 50% of all Scotland’s energy will come from renewable sources. Change is happening across the country and you can be one of those leading the way. By exploring and installing home renewables, your house can be the smartest on your street.
Home Energy Scotland can help you access any available financial support, including grants and interest-free loans to cover the cost of installation and setup.
