Renewable energy sources like wind, water and the sun can heat your home while reducing your energy bills, as well as your reliance on the fossil fuels that create electricity and gas.
If you live in Scotland, use our resources and tools to find out which renewable energy source is right for you. There is also funding available for those considering installing home renewables – you can get grants and take up an optional interest-free loan with the Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan, funded by the Scottish Government, to help with the cost of installation.
Join the renewables revolution
By 2030, it’s expected that 50% of all Scotland’s energy will come from renewable sources. Change is happening right across the country and you can be one of those leading the way. By exploring and installing home renewables, you can make sure that your house is the smartest on your street.
Home Energy Scotland can help you access any and all of the financial support available, including grants and interest-free loans to cover the cost of installation and setup.
