The first ever Dcarbonise Conference and Exhibition, dedicated to the low carbon built environment and transport solutions, takes place at the SEC in Glasgow on 15 – 16 May 2019.

Climate change is on the front pages at the moment, with Scottish government among others to declare a climate emergency. Heating accounts for just under a third of greenhouse gas emissions around the UK, which makes decarbonising the heating system and increasing energy efficiency a central part of mitigating climate change.

Scottish Government designated energy efficiency as a national infrastructure priority in 2015.  Through the Energy Efficient Scotland Programme, it’s making a concerted effort to encourage people to improve the energy efficiency of properties by implementing strict new standards – firstly for private rented properties and then for all other homes and buildings.

The aim is for all Scottish homes and buildings to be warmer, greener and more efficient by 2040.

Dcarbonise Conference and Exhibition

The Dcarbonise Conference and Exhibition is dedicated to the low carbon built environment and transport solutions. It takes place at the SEC in Glasgow on 15 – 16 May, alongside the UK’s leading renewable energy conference All-Energy. Dcarbonise presents a great opportunity for businesses to find out about the big changes coming to Scotland’s energy efficiency landscape.

With private rented properties the first in be affected by new standards around energy efficiency, Energy Saving Trust is in a unique place to help businesses and private sector landlords. We can support you to:

  • understand the changes that are coming
  • plan for what effects the changes will have
  • realise the opportunities and benefits these changes will present to commercial organisations

As co-sponsors (along with Zero Waste Scotland and the Scottish Government) we’ve got a strong presence at Dcarbonise. Our own industry experts will be giving advice and support at our exhibition stand as well as delivering sessions over the two days.

Together, Dcarbonise and All-Energy are one of the biggest events in the Scottish energy calendar with around 8,000 joint attendees, including representatives from local authorities, private and social landlords, small and medium sized businesses, installers, large corporations, and many more.

Attendance is free and it’s a great opportunity to build contacts, find out about the latest industry developments and discover solutions.

Book your place, or find out about exhibiting today.
