Smart Transport Conference is the UK’s largest two-day conference for senior private and public sector transport leaders and policymakers. Through networking, knowledge transferring and debates this event aims to transform the transport network and create a plan to achieve net zero.

Our group head of transport, Tim Anderson, joins the programme to chair a discussion on air quality at 11.45am. The panel will explore what barriers are faced by local authorities when implementing a clean air zone scheme to tackle local air pollution and how they can get public buy-in. Many cities have already introduced these schemes and in this session, we will hear about success stories and what the future holds for clean air zones. Tim will be joined by Anna Railton, Cabinet Member for Zero Carbon and Climate, Oxford City Council and Jason Torrance, Interim Chief Executive, UK 100.
