The Concerted Action for the Energy Efficiency Directive exists to support the effective implementation of the Directive on Energy Efficiency (2012/27/EU) in all EU Member States and Norway. It provides a trusted forum for the exchange of experiences and collaboration, which helps countries learn from each other, avoid pitfalls and build on successful approaches when implementing the Directive. The work done by CA EED members aims to help the EU reach its 30% energy efficiency target by 2030.
Energy Saving Trust holds the role of Communicator for this project, leading on the delivery of all logistic and communication aspects of the CA EED.
With two Plenary Meetings every year, and regular activities such as study visits and webinars, the CA EED events programme is one of the most comprehensive across Energy Saving Trust’s portfolio of international projects.
