Our response to the consultation on the design of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4)

The consultation sought views on the future design of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme which was proposed to double in size in terms of annual funding to £1 billion per year to support vulnerable households. Other proposals addressed the need for greater support and deeper retrofit for the least energy efficient homes, significant alterations to the scheme that would see 50% of the total funds delivered through local authority referrals and how ECO interacts with other grant funding among others.
