This consultation set out how the provisions of the Heat Networks (Scotland) Act 2021, and related policies, will contribute to increased heat networks across Scotland. It also outlined the proposed regulatory regime for the heat networks sector in Scotland.
Our response answers the wide range of questions posed by the consultation and includes our thoughts on the approaches that could be taken through the Scottish Government’s proposals in the Heat Networks Delivery Plan that could reduce the depth and rate of fuel poverty in Scotland.
