This consultation asked for views on proposed changes to permitted development rights and the use classes order, which are being considered by the Scottish Government. Our response focussed solely on the proposals relating to electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Given that EV infrastructure will play a key role in the deployment of EVs in Scotland and as a result in the decarbonisation of road transport, our response was supportive of the majority of changes proposed.
