Green Homes Network

The Green Homes Network features more than 400 homes across Scotland, with homeowners who have installed renewable technologies at home such as heat pumps and solar panels and want to share their experiences. The network comprises homes of all kinds; from eco-builds to historic stone cottages, listed buildings and everything in between.

Network members are friendly homeowners, keen to share their experience about the energy efficiency improvements they’ve made to their property, the costs they’ve saved, and to help you make an informed choice.

Once your project is complete and you’ve spent some time living with your improvements, why not become a member of the Green Homes Network? 

Having been through the journey, from installation through to living with the new measures, you’re in a great position to help others.

You can help them understand the benefits, the potential hurdles they may need to overcome, and the impact these improvements may have on their energy bills. Many people find these case studies to be invaluable in giving them the confidence to take the next step. 

Our members make the network and we’re grateful to them for letting us host a case study about their project on the Green Homes Network. As well as answering queries about their project via email, phone, or even hosting a visit, some members generously give their time to support events, webinars and other projects.

Other members offer their time to feature in media publications and campaigns, but the level of involvement you’d like to have is completely up to you.
