HES Homecare pilot 2017-19 learning summary

This document summarises key learning from the HES Homecare pilot project 2017-19 in Moray and Annandale and Eskdale, delivered through Home Energy Scotland and managed by Energy Saving Trust. Learning over the course of the two-year pilot was documented and case studies compiled as a resource for project staff and to embed this learning within the design of any future mainstreamed service. An evaluation was commissioned by Scottish Government from University of Edinburgh and is published as a separate document on Scottish Government’s website: https://www.gov.scot/publications/evaluation-hes-homecare-pilot/pages/1/

Renewable Heat in Scotland, 2018 Report

The Energy Saving Trust has prepared this report on behalf of the Scottish Government in order to measure progress towards its target for 11% of non-electrical heat demand in Scotland, which is to be met from renewable sources by 2020. The report contains information on renewable heat capacity and renewable heat output from installations operating in Scotland during the 2018 calendar year. A separate appendix file has been prepared to accompany this report containing calculations, sources and assumptions used for the analysis.

This separate appendix file, containing calculations, sources and assumptions used for the analysis, has been prepared to accompany a Renewable Heat in Scotland, 2018 report by Energy Saving Trust on behalf of the Scottish Government. Increased benefits through the Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland

The Energy Saving Trust carried out an evaluation in 2014, of the value of benefits secured by people that had been referred for a benefit and tax credit check under the Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland (HEEPS) national scheme. The evaluation found that 11% of households who had referrals for benefit checks saw an increase in their benefits and the average annual increase in benefit for those households is £2,540.
